This role requires strong accounting skills, hospitality experience, and advanced Excel proficiency to ensure financial accuracy and operational partnership across the organization.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations within a country club environment in accordance with GAAP
Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and management reports
Lead month-end close processes, including balance sheet account reconciliations
Ensure proper accounting controls, documentation, and consistency across departments
Utilize Sage Intacct, Excel, and hospitality-based systems to drive accuracy and insight
Partner closely with management to support hospitality operations and large-scale events
Ensure accurate customer invoicing and revenue recognition
Oversee sales tax return preparation
Work directly with AR, AP, and Treasury to maintain clean financial processes
Support all-hands operational needs during select large events (transportation, coordination, etc.)
Lead year-end reporting and collaborate with external CPAs for tax preparation
Assist with external audits as required
Maintain compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards
Qualification
Required
Proven hospitality accounting experience (country club, hotel, resort, or similar environment)
Strong grasp of GAAP accounting fundamentals
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with Sage or Sage Intacct
Ability to manage month-end closes and balance sheet reconciliations independently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person hospitality environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to partner cross-functionally
Preferred
Experience with Maestro PMS
Prior leadership experience overseeing AP or similar accounting functions
Experience working directly with external CPAs and auditors
Background in multi-revenue-stream hospitality environments
