The Office Support Assistant is responsible for providing support for the back-office functions of the academy, assisting in operations, attendance, and event logistics.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Model Christ in word and deed
Read Calvary Christian Academy email/staff communications to remain informed and respond if requested to so
Attend all required staff meetings
Assist with all school operations and processes
Build and maintain school forms and registrations
Support event logistics, venue arrangements, equipment setup, etc
Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution
Assist with all school operations and processes

Provide support processing Attendance mailbox emails
Assist with attendance data entry and edits, including removing infractions for deleted attendance entries
Provide support to the Attendance Officer in reconciling Upper School period attendance, including verifying teacher compliance with attendance policies
Process attendance-related infractions daily
Help write tardy slips on heavy traffic days
Participate in scheduled team meetings
Adhere to specified professional dress
Qualification
Required
The call of God to serve as part of the CCA staff
A strong commitment to the philosophies and mission of Calvary Chapel as well as the educational philosophies of Calvary Christian Academy
Excellent interpersonal skills with regard to staff, their parents, and colleagues
Spiritual gifts of teaching, discernment, administration, leadership, service and exhortation
Strong PC/Mac educational training experience
The ability to learn new software solutions
Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs
