Responsibilities
Partner extensively with business stakeholders, technical architects, and peers to gather and analyze requirements for scalable software solutions aligned with enterprise goals
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade applications following domain-driven design principles and adhering to test-driven development practices to ensure code robustness
Perform rigorous debugging, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution to maintain high availability and optimal performance of applications in production environments
Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed specifications and estimations, to enable transparent development processes and facilitate knowledge sharing
Explore and integrate new technologies and tools that enhance the efficiency, security, and reliability of software delivery pipelines and runtime environments
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enforcing coding standards, security protocols, and engineering best practices across development teams
Collaborate closely with architecture and leadership teams to align development efforts with long-term modernization and scale strategies ensuring enterprise readiness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex applications within production environments
Demonstrated proficiency with modern development frameworks, tools, and open-source technologies relevant to full stack development
Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components with a deep understanding of object-oriented design and architectural patterns
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including cloud-native application development and deployment
Proficiency in Java Spring Boot framework for building scalable microservices
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
Experience working with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka
Database proficiency including PostgreSQL, Data Lakes, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), and Databricks with expertise in ORM frameworks and SQL query performance optimization
Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Thymeleaf, Angular, Node.js, and solid skills in HTML5 and CSS3
Hands-on experience with build and deployment pipelines using tools like Gradle, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, and GitHub Actions
Familiarity with DevOps collaboration platforms including Slack, GitHub, Microsoft Teams, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Grafana
Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and the ability to maintain secure, reliable delivery pipelines
Experience managing and remediating software security vulnerabilities to uphold enterprise security standards
Preferred
Master's degree in a relevant field or significant equivalent industry experience
8 or more years of progressive experience in software engineering roles encompassing broad technical and leadership skills
