The role involves performing standard work in support of department needs, including data management, project support, and emergency response operations.

Responsibilities
Performs various tasks in support of department needs using applications and tools specific to job assignments and discipline. Examples may include:
Reviews and assesses data and records for accuracy and completeness
Documents research for system compliance requirements
Creates and updates data and records in the system of record and GIS applications
Performs data and records management
Works directly with customers to make access arrangements
Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and design requirements
Updates to department standards, processes, and tools
Supports emergency response work as requested including immediate and extended restoration efforts driven by weather and other system failures
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School graduate with technical field experience or drafting certificate or equivalent experience
Effective communication and organizational skills
Proficient with PC software
Preferred
Utility experience, knowledge of subject matter within assigned area of focus
Experience working with both internal and external customers
Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team to drive results
Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
Experience using a variety of business applications and analysis tools such as Visio, Power Point, Excel, Word, Power BI, and SAP Modules
