Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; prepare and review tax returns and filings
Support internal and external audits, including documentation preparation and audit coordination
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost control and efficiency
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity
Advise management on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations; implement updates as required
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial projects
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies
Qualification
Required
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations
Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Public accounting or industry experience
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Familiarity with ERP systems and audit processes
Strong communication and client-facing skills
