Responsibilities
Lead weekly project meetings (engineering, operations, contractors, ROW, and project controls)
Develop project schedules, milestones, and work plans
Manage project budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variances
Review engineering designs and collaborate on design solutions
Review, negotiate, and approve contractor and engineering proposals
Process purchase orders, audit documentation, procurement files, and contract updates
Conduct weekly or bi-weekly site visits, increasing during construction season (March–November)
Oversee contractor performance, construction progress, and field safety
Manage issues, and scope changes with mitigation and contingency planning
Ensure project completion, payment reconciliation, and closeout documentation
Qualification
Required
5 years of project management experience, in natural gas or utilities
Comfort managing budgets, schedules, forecasts, and contracts
Advanced Excel experience developing project schedules
A background in engineering or construction
Preferred
PMP certification, (not required)
