Responsibilities
Will be the management representative for all internal and external audits so must know the quality system well
Will be in charge of implementing quality system changes, collecting data necessary to the running of the system, and leading management review meetings
Inspection of hardware and verification of processing parameters in accordance with customer requirements
Seeing that nonconformities are handled in such a way as to prevent their use
Preventing the recurrence of nonconformities by identification, segregation, reporting, initiating corrective action and verifying the corrective action
Training and supervision of Quality department personnel
Creation and maintenance of process instructions to be issued to the shop floor
Calibration of all active monitoring and measuring equipment
Maintenance of customer specifications, drawings, and inspection records
Customer liaison regarding quality
Qualification
Required
Aerospace quality experience is required
Minimum 7-10 years of quality management experience with knowledge of AS9100 & ISO9001:2015 standards
Excellent interpersonal and customer interfacing abilities, able to positively influence others
Ability to work well under pressure and manage difficult situations
Excellent ability to quickly understand, identify, and correct non-conforming material
