Responsibilities
Input and manage menu data in the software based on provided ingredients, recipes, and menus
Collaborate with school districts to design menus that comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, while promoting participation in the USDA child nutrition programs
Update and maintain accurate manufacturer data and district recipes, including pricing, allergen information, nutrition facts, and ingredient details
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manufacturers, and vendors
Assist districts in preparing for administrative reviews
Provide training and support to clients on meal pattern compliance, production records, and menu software updates
Participate in weekly team meetings
Engage in additional company initiatives, such as standardized recipe development, marketing, fresh eyes reviews, and other projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Minimum of two years of professional experience in K-12 school foodservice
Strong knowledge of USDA child nutrition program regulations
Proficiency in USDA-approved K-12 menu planning software and G Suite applications
Exceptional attention to detail, with strong customer service, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
Experience in a district menu planner role
