Litigation Legal Assistant - Los Angeles
Career Consulting Partners is a nationally recognized multi-jurisdictional law firm dedicated exclusively to probate litigation. They are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to attorneys in their West Los Angeles office, assisting with legal document preparation, case file management, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys
Prepare, format, and file legal documents in state and federal courts, including e-Filings
Create and maintain internal case files; manage document organization and storage
Experience supporting multiple attorneys, managing competing priorities, and adapting to changing workload demands
Draft correspondence and legal forms with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Review and analyze legal documents for completeness and correctness; strong proofreading skills required
Maintain attorneys’ general calendars and assist with scheduling
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, documents, and logistics
Ability to support multiple professionals, manage conflicting priorities, and communicate effectively
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office is required
1 - 3 years of experience in a heavy CA litigation-focused role
Ability to support multiple professionals, manage conflicting priorities, and communicate effectively
Experience supporting multiple attorneys, managing competing priorities, and adapting to changing workload demands

Preferred
Experience in probate, trust, estate, or conservatorship litigation or administration is preferred
A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal degree program is a plus
Certified Paralegal or Certified Legal Assistant designation a plus
Bachelor's Degree is also a plus
Familiarity with Smokeball case management software is a plus
