$20/hr - $20/hrNEOGOV is seeking a City Auditor Intern to assist in the City Auditor's Office. The intern will perform research, data analysis, and assist with audit procedures while gaining experience in municipal government operations.

Responsibilities
Assists in performing and documenting research efforts; attending and documenting internal meetings and audit walkthroughs; collecting and organizing qualitative and quantitative data; performing data analysis; completing assigned audit procedures; and work paper preparation
Apply major area of studies of career interest by observing and assisting professionals in the assigned department where work will be performed
May be responsible for special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate
Must be enrolled in U.S. Department of Education accredited undergraduate degree program
Must be enrolled in a U.S. Department of Education accredited degree program, graduate or post graduate
Preferred
Enrolled in a degree program majoring in one of the following areas: Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science
Completed a minimum of 60 hours toward an undergraduate degree
Currently maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.00 in all college business courses
Strong analytical and communication skills
Completion of an Auditing course
Experience using all major Microsoft Office software
