Human Resources Operations/Partner - Startup
KP Recruiting Group is a startup experiencing rapid growth and seeking a strategic People professional to manage talent acquisition and serve as a key HR partner. This dual-role position involves full-cycle recruiting and establishing HR infrastructure, aimed at fostering a positive employee experience while supporting the company's growth.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, from initial requirement gathering and kick-off with hiring managers to the final offer close and smooth onboarding handoff
Proactively source passive candidates through various online channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, professional networks, etc.). Build and nurture a rich pipeline of potential future hires to reduce time-to-fill for critical roles
Craft compelling and accurate job descriptions and talent messaging that clearly articulate our unique value proposition and resonate deeply with experienced professionals
Facilitate a seamless and positive candidate journey. This includes coordinating interview schedules, conducting initial screening assessments, providing timely communication, and serving as the candidate's main point of contact
Work hand-in-hand with the hiring manager to ensure a seamless transition for new hires from offer acceptance to their first day, setting the stage for high engagement and long-term success
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures, providing guidance and support with a high degree of empathy and discretion
Help champion and embed our company culture. Assist in organizing team-building events and initiatives that boost morale and engagement
Assist with the administration of benefits, leave management, and maintain employee records in our HRIS
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a hybrid TA / HR Generalist role or shifted from hands-on recruitment into a full-cycle People Operations role recently (ideally at a tech company)
Experience with HR fundamentals including compliance (priority), onboarding & training, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration
Strong track record crafting effective sourcing strategies, building pipelines, and closing candidates for competitive roles
Start-up experience from Seed to Series B or standing up process from 0 to 1
Familiar with ATS (Lever), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other HR or sourcing tools
Highly empathetic, friendly, and approachable so employees feel safe approaching you with their problems
Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
