InfoStride is seeking an experienced Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) Consultant / Project Coordinator to support a large-scale warehouse automation and systems implementation in Memphis, TN. The role involves developing and executing WCS test scripts, managing validation documentation, and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful system integration.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed test scripts and validation plans for WCS functionality, including happy paths, exception handling, and recovery scenarios
Execute test cases, document results, log defects, and track issues through resolution
Create and maintain traceability matrices, test documentation, and functional specifications
Collaborate with WMS, engineering, and automation teams to validate integrated business and system processes
Provide project coordination support, including tracking timelines, deliverables, risks, and status reporting
Participate in system and process testing for warehouse automation equipment such as conveyors, sorters, and print-and-apply labeling systems
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with end-user training and knowledge transfer as required
Apply prior project experience and independent judgment to proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities

Required

Proven experience supporting warehouse or distribution system testing projects, preferably involving WCS and/or WMS
Strong ability to design test scenarios beyond basic user stories, with emphasis on operational edge cases and exception handling
Hands-on experience working in structured or validation-driven testing environments
Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong project coordination skills, including task tracking and documentation management

Preferred

Experience using JIRA for test management and project tracking
Knowledge of SAP EWM or other ERP/WMS platforms
Background in warehouse automation, material handling systems, or logistics technology
Experience facilitating training sessions or supporting knowledge transfer
