Responsibilities
Serve as principal advisor to the Commissioner in all executive, administrative, and management processes of the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control
Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the Business, Enforcement and Legal Divisions for ATC
Manage, classify, and record alcohol and tobacco compliance checks and prepares reporting for quarterly annual performance indicators
Propose and prepare revision to authorized budget as needed
Compile budget projections for Commissioner
Qualification
Required
Eight years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating administrative programs, operational programs, or special projects or initiatives within a public or private sector organization
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating administrative programs, operational programs, or special projects or initiatives within a public or private sector organization
A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating administrative programs, operational programs, or special projects or initiatives within a public or private sector organization
An advanced degree, or a Juris Doctorate, plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating administrative programs, operational programs, or special projects or initiatives within a public or private sector organization
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field
