The Videographer/Editor is responsible for recording and editing video programs for UALR TV’s cable and internet channels, managing production equipment, and supervising students.

Responsibilities

Operate professional audio/video equipment for both University Television and the School of Mass Communication
Edit long-form and short-form content for both University Television and the School of Mass Communication
Organize, update, and maintain the video archival system
Program the automation server system weekly
Create University Television IDs, graphics, animated opens, and slides
Travel to various venues in central Arkansas to record speakers and events
Work evenings and occasional weekends during the academic year as needed
Manage content development for UALR TV
Oversee all physical and digital assets of the television station
Supervise student workers and interns
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a Mass Communication or related field
Experience in television or related broadcast industries
Experience in professional media content development
Experience working with students
Supervisory experience in media production or related fields
