Responsibilities

You will leverage a data-centric approach to build category and supplier strategies that, in partnership with key stakeholders, can be implemented across the enterprise. Certain strategies may result in transformational change needing to be driven across Global Procurement and the lines of business. Your communication and collaboration skills will be critical to influence stakeholders and drive change through the strategies that you build. Experience in IT and Professional Services category strategy will be beneficial

Analytics & Strategy Development – use facts and data to solve problems and develop transformational strategies for the bank: Leverage your analytical prowess to solve tough problems and support the goals and objectives of Global Procurement. This will be done by analyzing third-party spend, pricing, contracts and processes to identify opportunities and support ongoing sourcing engagements
Whether it be how to optimize our third-party spend or how to more effectively allocate resources across multiple competing priorities, you’ll let the data guide you to solve these often ambiguous challenges (this will be done through: RFx modeling and decision-making support: spend analysis and planning, benchmarking, industry research, bid evaluation and deal modeling, and spend forecasting)
Continuous improvement – always challenge the status quo: Support various strategic initiatives (big and small) including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, digital culture transformation and more – it’s an exciting and fast-paced environment and you’ll be required to leverage your problem-solving, communication, project management, change management and creativity skills to be successful
