NEOGOV is seeking a creative and organized Social Media Content Creator to join the Mississippi Public Broadcasting team. This role involves designing and producing engaging graphics and videos for social media platforms, while managing multiple projects and ensuring timely content delivery.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form video for use across social and other applications
Design and produce high-quality visual content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn, as well as website and app
Engage in AI tools and platforms for the best ways to streamline digital efforts
Schedule social media posts based on strategist-approved calendars, ensuring timely and accurate content delivery
Collaborate with internal teams to align content with organizational goals and campaigns
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality
Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices to continually improve engagement
Assist Art Department Manager with additional digital platform graphics

Required

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro and Microsoft 365 Office Suite
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and emerging trends in the media landscape
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Sprout Social, or other social scheduling platforms

Preferred

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media, or related field
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in production or a multimedia field
