2026 Summer Intern – EHS

The intern will support the Corporate occupational health, safety, environmental, and loss control team, assisting with the evaluation, development, planning, training, and implementation of environmental, safety, and health initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provides support for inspections and tests planned to provide experience and familiarization with company operations, specific EHS issues and regulations, and company practices
Collects and evaluates data
Assists in reviewing various environmental programs
Oversees and evaluates various aspects of EHS programs within facilities
Assists more experienced professionals in developing solutions
Assist with delivery and development of a variety of training programs
Assist in preparing environmental compliance audits and inspections
Provides support in documentation, reporting, and root cause analysis of spills and chemical releases
Assists with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for assigned programs
Works with Corporate EHS team to help support environmental expectations and improve operating metrics
Assist in the development, review and updating of polices and directives
Assists with maintaining records and data necessary to evaluate compliance with regulatory and company standards
Other duties as assigned

Required

Working towards a BS Degree in Environmental, Scientific, Chemical, Civil, Safety or Engineering
Good understanding of environmental, health and safety practices and regulatory requirements
Ability to multi-task, follow-through, and work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must have valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 40lbs
Good communication skills
Ability to adapt to frequent changes in tasks and workload
Adherence to all safety practices and use of PPE while in a facility manufacturing facility
