Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate appropriate technological solutions to meet a variety of reporting and analytics needs
Create reports and dashboards leveraging Clarity and Caboodle data sources
Write SQL queries and configure Radar settings to support custom SQL-based metrics
Modify and enhance existing reports, as needed
Distribute Clarity and Caboodle reports to end users and reporting consumers
Review peer-developed reports for accuracy, validity, and adherence to standards
Conduct functional, technical, and volume testing in designated test and live environments
Review Epic upgrade documentation related to Clarity, Caboodle, and reporting tools; determine impact and implement required updates
Interview end users, stakeholders, and sponsors to assess departmental reporting needs
Develop functional and technical requirements documents
Decompose information into detailed components, including data sources, data types, user types, interface needs, navigation requirements, and administrative dependencies
Prepare supporting documentation such as test plans, technical specifications, release notes, user guides, and training materials
Coordinate user groups and project teams, including scheduling meetings, leading discussions, maintaining minutes, and tracking follow-up tasks
Collaborate with Application Analysts to develop solution designs, mockups, and prototypes
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and effectively
Provide regular communication to users, managers, corporate directors, and vendors to ensure alignment, support, and regulatory readiness
Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the department and organization
Participate in special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Epic certification in applicable BI/Reporting modules required within 3 months of hire
Strong proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
Demonstrated experience with report writing and business intelligence tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to engage professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Highly organized, detail oriented, analytical, and accountable for successful outcomes
Ability to work within assigned timelines and resource constraints
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-velocity team environment
Ability to work at various locations and different shifts, as needed
Bachelor's degree required in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, information systems, statistics, or a related discipline
