They are seeking a Mortgage Accounting Analyst to assist with servicing reconciliations, residential loan accounting, and servicing boarding for non-agency residential loan positions.

Responsibilities
Assist with research requests, supporting operations team in addressing borrower, investor or 3rd party inquiries
Collaborate with Capital Markets, Credit and Operations groups to develop reporting related to loan payments and servicing
Coordinate with sub-servicer to review loan boarding and loan payments
Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
Assist with reconciliation of operating bank accounts and warehouse lines
Work with technology, operations and capital markets teams to automate and implement process efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting/finance or a related field
1-3 years of experience in an accounting role at a mortgage or investment-related company
1+ years of experience in investor reporting and reconciliation of residential mortgage loan payments
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and reporting requirements
Familiarity with loan servicing transfers and servicing boarding
Residential mortgage servicing background
Experience with Excel
Strong technology capabilities
Willingness to work in a start-up environment and wear multiple hats
