Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve missing or misapplied payments in coordination with internal teams and external vendors
Research payment exceptions and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
Process manual payment adjustments accurately and in compliance with company policies
Assist customers and internal teams with autopay setups, cancellations, and returned payments
Maintain detailed documentation of all payment-related activities and resolutions
Monitor payment queues and bring up issues as needed to ensure service-level agreements are met
Collaborate with the payment services vendor to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues
Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate records and reports

Required

Minimum high school diploma with 3 years' experience in a financial environment/bookkeeping/accounting OR Associate's degree in a financial area with limited experience. An equivalent combination of education, certification, work experience will be considered
Proven track record in administrative roles, with a focus on payment processing and financial reconciliation
Exceptionally diligent and can handle multiple tasks with precision
Strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with both internal and external collaborators
Ambitious and driven, always looking for ways to improve processes and achieve flawless execution
Proficient in using payment processing systems and have a good understanding of compliance requirements
Can determine the root cause of issues and successfully implement solutions
