Legal Support Specialist
TrueSeek is a well-established law firm expanding its legal support team. They are seeking qualified professionals for various roles, including administrative assistants, paralegals, and billing coordinators, to work in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors; manage phone inquiries professionally
Draft, format, and edit correspondence, reports, and legal documents
Maintain attorney calendars, including court appearances, depositions, meetings, and travel
Assist with billing time entry, expense tracking, and invoice preparation
Manage filing systems and maintain strict confidentiality
Coordinate meetings and order food for client meetings and firm events with attention to budget and dietary needs
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and correspondence
Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars
Conduct legal research and summarize findings
Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists
Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
Assist with child support and spousal support calculations
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
Handle billing for assigned partners
Coordinate new matter intake
Generate, review, and distribute prebills
Finalize and send client invoices
Submit and manage e-billing; handle appeals and rejections
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding billing matters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of family law paralegal experience
Paralegal certificate or degree required (Bachelor's preferred)
2+ years of law firm billing experience
College degree required
Preferred
1–2 years of administrative or legal experience preferred
Experience with SurePoint preferred
