Litigation Paralegal (Hybrid)
Career Consulting Partners is partnered with a leading plaintiff’s personal injury law firm that has provided legal representation to clients across California. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling elder abuse matters while managing critical calendaring and court-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand letters
Support attorneys in elder abuse litigation from initial intake through trial
Prepare, organize, and maintain exhibit binders, trial materials, and mediation briefs
Summarize medical records, discovery materials, deposition transcripts, and facility records
Coordinate with clients, experts, medical providers, and outside vendors
Assist with trial preparation, including witness lists, trial subpoenas, exhibit management, and related logistics
Complete e-filings in state and federal courts
Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and all litigation-related deadlines
Maintain and update calendars for multiple attorneys
Track and manage court deadlines, reminders, and compliance dates
Prepare notices of hearings, deposition notices, and other calendaring documents
Oversee the service of pleadings and ensure all filings are timely and compliant
Qualification
Required
Strong background in elder abuse matters
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proactive and efficient
Comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment
Experience in drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand letters
Ability to support attorneys in elder abuse litigation from initial intake through trial
Experience in preparing, organizing, and maintaining exhibit binders, trial materials, and mediation briefs
Ability to summarize medical records, discovery materials, deposition transcripts, and facility records
Experience coordinating with clients, experts, medical providers, and outside vendors
Assistance with trial preparation, including witness lists, trial subpoenas, exhibit management, and related logistics
Experience completing e-filings in state and federal courts
Ability to schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and all litigation-related deadlines
Experience maintaining and updating calendars for multiple attorneys
Ability to track and manage court deadlines, reminders, and compliance dates
Experience preparing notices of hearings, deposition notices, and other calendaring documents
Ability to oversee the service of pleadings and ensure all filings are timely and compliant
