Responsibilities
Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with Netsmart’s business objectives and growth plans
Lead migration and optimization of platforms in public cloud environments; champion DevOps best practices for scalability and reliability
Integrate AI-driven development approaches into product roadmaps to enhance performance and user experience
Oversee development of medication-related projects and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
Manage distributed teams, including our new Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, ensuring seamless communication and delivery
Operate effectively in a matrix organization, partnering with Product, Operations, and Client Success teams
Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
10+ years in software engineering leadership roles, with at least 3 years at VP or senior director level
Proven success in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices
Exceptional ability to lead in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred
Experience in healthcare technology strongly preferred; familiarity with medication management solutions is a plus
Prior experience leading teams across geographies, including India
Exposure to AI/ML development or integration into software products is highly desirable
