Responsibilities
Develop sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals, budgets, and operational needs
Conduct comprehensive spend analysis at organizational, divisional, commodity, and supplier levels
Identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing efficiencies
Perform market research to identify supplier trends, new technologies, and sourcing opportunities
Develop negotiation strategies and successfully close sourcing agreements
Lead RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) from initiation through award
Negotiate contracts, pricing, service levels, and terms & conditions
Ensure contracts align with statements of work and internal risk standards
Prepare and route contract documentation and approval packages
Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, and market standing
Identify optimal supplier selection methodologies for sourcing initiatives
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders through regular engagement
Act as an internal consultant and problem solver
Gather ongoing requirements to support effective sourcing and operational planning
Maintain understanding of supplier product offerings and technology roadmaps
Monitor supplier performance and provide input into future sourcing strategies
Stay current on procurement best practices and industry trends
Pursue continuous professional development aligned with sourcing and contract management
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
Proven experience negotiating contracts and commercial terms
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables
Experience leading sourcing events and cross-functional initiatives
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare industry
Exposure to regulated or risk-sensitive environments
