Survey Technician

They are seeking a Survey Technician to join their Bridgeport, WV survey team, responsible for performing work using survey equipment and assisting with the establishment of control points and survey documentation.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the survey crew chief or PLS, perform work using survey equipment
Assist in the establishment of control points, and survey monuments
Assist in the documenting of field survey notes
Complete electronic reporting of time and project outcomes

Qualification

Survey equipment proficiencyField survey experienceDocumenting field notesElectronic reportingWork outdoors

Required

A high school diploma or GED equivalent
A valid driver's license
Ability to work outside, in rugged terrain environments for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions
Ability to travel to project sites as needed
Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work some evenings and weekends

Preferred

Previous experience as a survey technician or working in a field crew capacity is desired
