Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; conduct depositions and court appearances
Work closely with senior attorneys and clients on strategy and case management
Maintain a strong focus on quality work product and efficient billing
Other areas include: Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation
Qualification
Required
Admitted to the New York Bar (active status required; additional state licenses a plus)
3–8 years of insurance defense experience in the New York market
Solid background in general liability and premises liability defense
Strong writing, analytical, and client communication skills
Proven ability to manage deadlines and bill efficiently (target: 1,920 hours annually)
Benefits
Bonus structure: $10,000 bonus at 2,000 billable hours
Additional $7,500 for each 100-hour increment thereafter
