Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for substation and other T&D projects
Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and related project documents
Utilize HeavyBid (or similar estimating software) to develop cost estimates
Work closely with engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure scope and pricing align with project requirements
Create and maintain estimator drawings as needed to support cost development
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to ensure competitive and accurate bids
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools
Qualification
Required
Background in T&D or electrical infrastructure, with specific experience on substation projects
Proficiency with estimating software (HeavyBid strongly preferred)
Ability to read, understand, and analyze electrical drawings and project specifications
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Engineering background a plus, but not required
