Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of general accounting, process customer invoices, accounts receivable, cash application, accounts payable and payroll
Assist in establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Complete monthly accounting close timely and accurately
Ensure reconciliations are current, accurate and prepared monthly
Maintain and enhance internal controls; recommend and implement improvements to accounting policies, documentation, and workflows
Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to inquiries
Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
Lead and supervise other finance team members, providing performance feedback and guidance on priorities and task management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, plus 4+ years of related, hands-on experience, including independent performance of financial/accounting processes
Thorough knowledge of Finance/Accounting practices and business management
Expert working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Excel required
Excellent analytical and reasoning skills including sound judgment
Ability to manage sensitive and highly confidential information professionally
Demonstrated ability to work well with others in various organizational and functional levels to resolve matters of interrelated responsibility, while exercising a high degree of tact
