IT Director
Great Lakes Medical Imaging is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead and direct their IT team. This role involves managing complex IT services, developing technology roadmaps, and mentoring team members while ensuring the integration of projects and resources within the organization.

Responsibilities
Manages the overall IT Department
Conduct new hire interviews and candidate selection for the IT department
Oversee, develop and disseminate schedules for staff in their departments including maintenance and tracking of sick calls and tardiness
Perform annual performance evaluations for their respective team including completing review template and delivering the review to the employee directly
Administer disciplinary process steps and documentation as needed in conjunction with Human Resources
Supports and develops the IT team through assessing staffing and skill requirements, establishing professional development plans, setting goals and expectations with team members, mentoring, and giving feedback on performance
Adherence and assimilation of GLMI handbook into leadership style
Approval of staff time cards for their respective departments in sync with payroll timeline
Manage staff PTO requests
Conducts regular IT meetings and prepares all organizational communication
Oversees IT team as it provides support to external and internal clients
Ensures integration of projects and resources and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business
Control budget and report on expenditure, as needed
Devise and establish IT policies, including HIPAA security, and systems to support the implementation and adherence to the internal team
Ensures support SLA's are met by both internal and external IT staff
Creates and manages appropriate downtime and backup procedures
Involved in the authorization and strategy of after hours projects
Maintains personal professional growth & development through seminars, workshops & professional affiliations to keep abreast of trends in the IT, and Healthcare fields
Work efficiently and collaboratively with other GLMI team members and their respective departments
Work cohesively with GLMI physicians and Administration to achieve goals
Regular attendance in team meetings and vendor meetings as needed
Maintains vendor relationships
Oversees account creations, password resets, granting rights, directory structure, and credentials
Oversees print/fax/scan hardware and maintenance
Responsible for phone systems throughout GLMI offices
Responsible for internal and external support, network sites, and network hardware
Responsible for file transfers, billing company interfaces (Imagine), troubleshooting and repair
Oversight for RIS/PACS applications in conjunction with Clinical Applications Manager
Develops and maintains modality network connections
Oversees customer and 3rd party integrations including maintenance of existing and new connections while adhering to established security standards
Responsible for establishing connection and software/hardware installation at new sites
Maintains all reading stations including support to Radiologists
Manages corporate IT compliance to ensure adherence to all regulations are met
Define and oversee root cause analysis processes for all service impacting outages
Oversee the maintenance of IT supplies and inventory
Track and report outages/down time to the COO
Functions as a central point of contact for external IT consultant relationships
Manages IT projects from inception to implementation
Other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
3+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
Strong knowledge of project management principles
Problem solving skills
Strong technical knowledge and skills
Strong customer service skills and diplomacy
Preferred
Experience in radiology or medical terminology
