The intern will assist in planning and executing themed experiences at the Westfield Farmers Market, coordinating marketing efforts, and supporting vendor and logistical operations under the supervision of the Market Manager.

Responsibilities
Plan and design themed experiences for the Westfield Farmers Market
Assist with the coordination and execution of theme nights on-site, with guidance from the Market Manager
Coordinate with the Communications Department for marketing assets, including social media graphics, e-newsletter features, and themed collateral
Assist Market Manager with vendor communication and management efforts
Handle email correspondence related to market operations
Support logistical operations during load-in and load-out
Assist with problem-solving on-site during programs
Support marketing efforts through social media and e-newsletter content creation
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills
Majoring in Event Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Communications, or Business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Canva, social media content creation, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily
Working towards a bachelor's degree in Event Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Communications, or Business
Valid driver's license in the State of Indiana
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently and up to 75 pounds of force occasionally
Ability to perform repetitive motions and occasionally requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling and lifting
Ability to communicate vocally and hear normal spoken word levels
Ability to perceive information through oral communications and make fine distinctions in sound
Ability to operate machines and observe general surroundings and activities
