Administrative Program Specialist B

Responsibilities
Coordinate and support work related accident and incident investigations across the department
Review employee incident/accident reports
Maintain accurate records for state reporting and audit purposes
Compile incident and accident data into monthly reports for presentation to Executive Staff and Regional Administrators
Serve as primary liaison with the state's first party insurance provider regarding accidents and repairs
Maintain records for vehicle repairs
Oversee and coordinate all department wide safety trainings
Conducts regular assessments and updates if emergency evacuations plan in coordination with building manager
Complete annual safety audits at the request of the state insurance provider
Performs other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Four years of experience in administrative services
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services
An advanced degree
Expertise in knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations governing Risk Management and DCFS policies and procedures
Preferred

Thinking Critically: The ability to objectively question, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information to form a conclusion
Using Data: The ability to use relevant and valid data to inform a recommendation for action
