Responsibilities
Design specialized products according to customer specifications
Provide technical data in Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and related systems to support sales and manufacturing
Perform stress calculations and finite element analysis
Ensure accuracy of engineering procedures, drawings, installation instructions, and product documentation
Develop product quotes, including price, lead time, and cost estimates
Communicate technical details effectively with customers and vendors
Evaluate tooling availability for special product manufacturing and provide cost quotes for necessary tools
Identify and apply process improvements in engineering workflows
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
High mechanical aptitude with ability to interpret manufacturing drawings
Proficiency in advanced mathematics and engineering calculations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and certification codes
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, CAD, Product Data Management (PDM), CPQ, and ERP systems
Preferred
Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Positive attitude and ability to collaborate within a team environment
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial equipment setting
