FVP, Project Management Office

Responsibilities
Reporting to the FVP, PMO Office leads and drives alignment of Project Management initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of Project and Program Management, Project Analyst, and Project Coordinator functions on time, within scope, and on budget
The role is responsible for overall development and management of the PMO, enhancing and maturing the tools and processes for the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and programs
The FVP, PMO aligns decision-making and governance at the appropriate level to ensure that all projects and programs of work follow established standards for change management
The FVP, PMO's scope is inclusive of information technology, facilities, regulatory compliance, and process improvement projects in addition to leading cross-functional efforts to drive standardization, stabilization and simplification of Fay processes
The role drives operational excellence implementation to improve operations and business processes across Fay companies, business units, and departments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED required
10 + years of progressive experience in Project Management
10+ years of experience leading people/teams to include the acquisition and allocation of resources, performance management, and talent development in leading a PMO
8 + years' supervisory role managing other project resources
Formal training/ certification in Project Management (PMP) and/or Six Sigma (SSBB) methodologies
Ability to effectively manage execution of responsibilities for several projects at one time, each with competing/conflicting priorities
Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodology (Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Scrum etc.) and skills (driver, anticipator, proactive) with the ability to train and indoctrinate other team members
Advanced knowledge and expertise with Project Management systems, tools, and processes, and MS Office applications to include SharePoint, MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, ServiceNow, Monday.com etc
Role requires an understanding of systems and their application to advance the efficiency of operation
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, while contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices
Strong leadership with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
Effective management skills to include talent selection, training, coaching, mentorship, and performance management
Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, coupled with recognizing and supporting the organization's culture, values, and priorities

Preferred
MBA, Consulting experience preferred
Prior experience working in the mortgage industry or financial services companies is preferred
Previous experience with business transformation within small to mid-size companies
Direct experience leading diverse business functions; mortgage/ financial services industry experience preferred
Experience using ServiceNow's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module preferred
