Human Services Consultant II (Temporary)
The NC Office of State Human Resources is seeking a Human Services Consultant II to enhance the training capacity for County Social Services agency staff in various food and nutrition services. The role involves developing and delivering training programs across the state and requires strong presentation and project management skills.

Responsibilities
Strengthen the capacity of the state’s training system to develop, implement and deliver training for the County Social Services (DSS) agency staff in Food and Nutrition Services as well as E&T, SNAP Ed, and Outreach
Develop and deliver training professionally across the state in a variety of modes
Design, develop, implement, promote, and evaluate professional development programs and activities that are responsive to broad levels of professional need and diverse audiences
Collect and evaluate data related to professional development
Manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines
Work independently and with minimal supervision
Effectively utilize computer equipment and software applications used to support the development and delivery of classroom and on-line training courses and materials
Qualification
Required
Proven educational experience
Making effective, informational, and motivational presentations to diverse adult learner audiences
Design, develop, implement, promote, and evaluate professional development programs and activities that are responsive to broad levels of professional need and diverse audiences
Collect and evaluate data related to professional development
Manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines
Work independently and with minimal supervision
Effectively utilize computer equipment and software applications used to support the development and delivery of classroom and on-line training courses and materials
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Benefits
Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
