Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. is seeking an Account Development Manager to drive Data Center/Enterprise Hard Disk Drive revenue growth and foster strong client relationships. The role involves managing key accounts, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring alignment between customer requirements and Toshiba’s product roadmap.

Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities using HDD product and innovation roadmaps
Manage sales accounts and execute business development activities for assigned market segments
Achieve revenue targets for Toshiba’s HDD Data Center segment
Build and maintain strong relationships across customer organizations, including ODMs, system integrators, and distribution networks
Facilitate executive-level interactions between customers and Toshiba leadership
Deliver best-in-class customer experience and support
Work closely with customer teams in Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain/Logistics, Marketing, Planning, and Legal
Collaborate with internal Toshiba teams (BU, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain/Logistics, Marketing, Planning, Legal) to ensure seamless execution
Conduct application reviews to identify key customer requirements and align with Toshiba’s product roadmap
Communicate the voice of the customer internally to influence product development and business processes
Negotiate volume, pricing, and share agreements
Provide accurate and timely reporting, including weekly account status updates, monthly reports, and quarterly sales plans

Qualification

Required

3+ years' experience in data center system component sales
HDD or related background and industry knowledge
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work independently and lead others
Great interpersonal and communications skills
Proven track record of success
Some travel required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Preferred

Technical background a plus
Public speaking ability
Creation of presentations, spreadsheets/data analysis
