Responsibilities

Participate in regular on-call triage of production software, helping to investigate, reproduce, and document real-time issues impacting users or clinical operations
Identify, log, and track bugs or inconsistencies across platforms
Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and clinical teams to test new features and applications
Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases across web applications and APIs
Participate in the development of automated tests, especially regression and smoke testing
Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and documentation

Qualification

Required

1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing (internship or personal projects welcome)
Familiarity with QA concepts, methodologies, and tools
Familiarity with Python, SQL, and Linux
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and API testing (e.g., Postman)
Some experience or interest in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, PyTest) is a plus
Knowledge of Git and version control systems
A detail-oriented mindset with a drive for thoroughness and accuracy
Strong communication and written documentation skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
Passion for learning and working in a mission-driven startup environment

Preferred

Exposure to Django applications
Knowledge of healthcare, genomics, or regulated software (HIPAA, CLIA, etc.)
Experience working with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
