Responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of combination product and drug delivery system development projects from planning through execution
Manage cross functional teams across engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, marketing, and external partners
Drive project strategy, schedules, scope, and budget in alignment with clinical and product development milestones
Oversee governance with external device development partners and serve as the primary project interface
Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning
Communicate project status, risks, and progress clearly to cross functional and leadership teams
Ensure effective meeting management with clear objectives, agendas, documentation, and action tracking
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering
Eight plus years of experience in medical device or combination product development
Strong experience with design controls, human factors studies, design verification and validation, and usability testing
Proven leadership ability to motivate teams, delegate effectively, and drive project execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong risk management, scheduling, organization, and problem solving skills
In depth understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device product development cycles
Experience with design history files and product development project management
Preferred
Master's degree in engineering or management
Project Management Professional certification
Experience managing external development partners and complex cross functional programs
