Mid, Senior LevelPARTS TOOL & DIE LLC is looking for a hands-on Quality Manager / Engineer who will own the Quality function within the organization. The role involves ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements, while leading a quality team and driving continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Responsibilities
Lead Quality Operations – Oversee inspection, testing, and validation of incoming material, in-process work, and finished goods
Own the QMS – Maintain and continuously improve our AS9100 & ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Drive Continuous Improvement – Reduce defects, improve processes, and increase efficiency using proven CI tools and methodologies
Lead & Develop the Team – Mentor and grow quality inspectors while fostering accountability and precision
Customer & Supplier Interface – Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues and resolutions
Audit & Compliance – Lead internal audits, support external audits, and ensure timely corrective actions
Shop Floor Engagement – Be present on the floor, partnering with production for real-time quality control
Cybersecurity Support – Assist with NIST 800-171 and CMMC maturity planning and reporting
Calibration Oversight – Manage gage control and calibration systems to ensure accuracy and traceability
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing quality
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001
Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
Clear communicator with strong problem-solving ability
Experience with RCA, corrective actions, and quality tools
Background in internal and external audits
A hands-on mindset and passion for continuous improvement
