Responsibilities
Study in-house production equipment (laser welding, heat staking, automated assembly, etc.) and drive equipment efficiency, scrap, quality, and process improvements
Drive mechanical engineering solutions to complex automated machinery
Design and prototype manufacturing aids using SolidWorks, 3D printer, etc
Root cause analysis and solution implementation
Support machine build and debug at local suppliers
Scorecard production line efficiency, scrap, and downtime performance
Other responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Enrolled as BS or MS candidate in Mechanical/Industrial engineering or similar field
Preferred
CAD: Solidworks preferred, Pro/Engineer (Creo) a plus
Data Analysis: Excel preferred, Minitab or JMP a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
