Responsibilities
Review system and business documentation to identify test objectives
Develop, update, and execute manual functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications
Document, track, and report defects and test results
Perform peer reviews of test cases and provide feedback
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of end-to-end software testing experience, including writing and executing test scenarios and documenting defects that do not meet business or system requirements
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques, including: White-box testing, Black-box testing, Coverage testing, Regression testing
Hands-on experience testing: Batch jobs, Interfaces (flat files, SOAP UI), Reports, Security roles (coarse-grain and fine-grain), Data conversions
Demonstrated ability to review system documentation, identify test objectives, write and maintain test cases, and execute functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications
Ability to independently write and modify SQL queries of moderate complexity to validate database results
Experience testing web-based replacements of legacy systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines
Experience coordinating across teams to gather information, present findings, and resolve issues
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with sound judgment
Ability to perform effectively under pressure
Willingness to live and work in Central Pennsylvania
Preferred
Experience with test automation
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile, RUP, Lean, and Waterfall
Experience using Azure DevOps for writing, managing, and executing test cases
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
