Financial Planning Intern

Ultium Cells LLC is a joint venture lithium-Ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. They are seeking a Finance Specialist Intern to provide hands-on experience with significant finance projects and Tax Audits, contributing directly to the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

Participating in significant finance and tax projects, ensuring contributions are meaningful and impactful
Analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making processes and support business objectives
Gaining a comprehensive understanding of our core business operation - battery cell production - and enhancing analytics skills through the use of established financial tools
Working collaboratively with the finance team on various tasks, including but not limited to, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Learning and applying financial principles in real-world scenarios, with the opportunity to work on-site and remotely, subject to managerial approval

Required

Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a Finance, Accounting, or related degree program, or a recent graduate
Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively articulating ideas and collaborating with team members
Analytical mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and the ability to adapt to changing financial landscapes
Availability for a flexible work schedule, accommodating occasional demands outside the standard work hours
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and achieve shared goals
