Responsibilities
Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for indirect spend categories, focusing on cost savings and value creation
Lead and coach a team of Category Managers, maintaining hands-on involvement in negotiations
Foster a high-performance team culture by setting expectations and mentoring team members
Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships throughout the lifecycle of procurement operations
Oversee contract lifecycle management and lead complex negotiations with various stakeholders
Establish comprehensive KPIs for procurement functions and deliver reporting for leadership review
Drive system adoption and enhancements for procurement technologies in collaboration with IT
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field required
10+ years of managerial experience in procurement
15+ years of experience in procurement in relevant industries, preferably with large, high-growth companies
Experience leading and developing high-performing category management teams
Strong analytical skills and a background in global procurement
