Vice President of Sales

Confidential company is seeking a Vice President of Sales who will be responsible for driving new revenue growth and expanding market presence within an assigned geographic region. This role involves strategic oversight and hands-on leadership for developing and executing sales initiatives while strengthening client relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for regional business development initiatives with a strong emphasis on staffing and workforce solutions
Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plans for a minimum of 30 targeted prospect, active, and inactive accounts
Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for workforce planning and staffing solutions
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative, solution-oriented sales strategies
Lead high-level sales efforts including prospecting, competitive analysis, sales calls, presentations, proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
Serve as the primary sales executive for designated key accounts, accountable for account planning, revenue growth, and long-term client retention
Coordinate and align sales strategies and communication plans with branch offices and regional leadership
Partner with branch and corporate teams to deliver customized staffing solutions, ensuring seamless execution from sale to implementation
Provide coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to branch leadership and sales teams to elevate performance and close business
Drive sales execution to shorten sales cycles and consistently meet or exceed revenue and profit targets
Analyze client workforce challenges and recommend appropriate staffing solutions, including temporary, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and managed services
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and within the local business community to increase brand awareness
Support the development of proposals, marketing materials, and presentations as needed
Ensure accurate documentation of sales activity and pipeline management within company CRM systems
Respond promptly and professionally to client and prospect inquiries
Perform additional duties as required to support company growth and operational success

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales and business development experience within the staffing industry
Proven success selling staffing and workforce solutions in a highly competitive, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience developing and executing regional or multi-branch sales strategies
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, coach, and partner with internal teams at all levels
Track record of achieving revenue growth, closing complex deals, and managing key accounts
Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
Ability to analyze client workforce needs and deliver customized staffing solutions
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable operating autonomously within company guidelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems
Ability to travel within the assigned region as required
Cooperative, team-oriented, and calm under pressure
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions
Strong initiative, creativity, and strategic thinking skills
