Responsibilities
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm policies and professional standards
Plan, schedule, and manage tax engagements using firm and client resources effectively
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong, long-term relationships
Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and related workpapers
Conduct tax research and prepare supporting documentation
Communicate project status, findings, and opportunities with clients and internal team members
Provide training, guidance, and supervision to staff and junior team members
Maintain and expand technical expertise in relevant tax areas and industry specializations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of public accounting experience
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm policies and professional standards
Plan, schedule, and manage tax engagements using firm and client resources effectively
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong, long-term relationships
Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and related workpapers
Conduct tax research and prepare supporting documentation
Communicate project status, findings, and opportunities with clients and internal team members
Provide training, guidance, and supervision to staff and junior team members
Maintain and expand technical expertise in relevant tax areas and industry specializations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting (BSBA preferred)
CPA candidate or pursuing an advanced degree strongly preferred
Strong ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles
Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and ProSystem fx Tax
