Responsibilities
Create interactive Tableau dashboards, custom visualizations and reports to visualize customer behavior, drivers of business performance, and support strategic decision making
Work in Databricks to create poker analytics specific tables and build pipelines to Tableau
Provide engineering support to create new metrics for player value and segmentation
Prioritize best practices in design, usability, and scalability to ensure sustainable and quality reporting
Communicate technical findings/insights to non-technical stakeholders to drive strategic success
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure that data is accurately represented and enable richer analysis
Become a key business partner to the analytics team and stakeholders across the Poker business, supporting them in driving insights and key decision making
Qualification
Required
2+ years' experience in an analytics/technical role
Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.) or relevant experience in data engineering/analysis
Strong personal organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
Proficiency in SQL, Excel and Tableau or another data visualization platforms required
Strong problem-solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insight
Strong stakeholder management
Ability to be independent and lead on projects - proactive thinking
Preferred
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Python, R)
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. Databricks)
Familiarity with ELT/data modeling (e.g. DBT)
Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones
Interest in Poker/Sports/Gaming
