Responsibilities
Build and maintain all types of copper cable (BNC, XLR, CAT-5, AC, DT-12, Triax, LMR etc.)
Soldering, terminating and crimping cables as required
Responsible for pulling cable packages for outbound orders
Works with cable lead to organize and maintain accurate quantities
Document and track missing and damaged cable
Provide on-site support to the engineering group as needed
Locate equipment in the building when it has been lost or misplaced
Forecast cable needs for future orders
Will be trained on UBS R2 Software
Organization and cleanliness of cable area
On-call rotation once trained
Qualification
Required
Strong and effective communication skills
Willingness to take on new challenges and proactive problem solving, consistently meeting commitments made to internal and external customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Self-motivated and resourceful
High School diploma or equivalent required
Maintain clean and organized work area
Preferred
Forklift and Pallet jack experience preferred by not required
Knowledge of UBS R2 software a plus
