National Account Manager

Responsibilities
Be relentless in all internal and external aspects of our business
Develops and nurtures value-enhancing, strategic partnerships within 7-11 HQ and with our Distributor partners
Conduct frequent surveys to ensure accurate pricing and programming is executed per quality standards
Utilize sales tools (IRI, Margin Minder, VIP) to analyze, develop, and execute strategic sales plans
Responsible for developing and executing key customer initiatives
Work with our internal team to execute company and department initiatives; develop and implement POS materials, distribution, and display enhancers
Responsible for market level education and support
Schedule and conduct regular information-based sales calls with Albertsons buying team(s), including business reviews and programming presentations
Manages the communication of expectations and timelines among the customer and distribution partner including product release schedules, volume forecasts, pricing, distribution targets, and support materials
Assists in annual budget plans – tracks and reports progress monthly
Performs administrative duties in a timely fashion (email follow ups, reporting, updating system logs, maintaining accurate key contact list, etc.)
Coordinates and participates in regularly scheduled sales meetings among distribution partners and internal staff
Collaborates on distributor order processing
Ability and willingness to participate in a myriad of customer-facing events such as festivals, store tastings, beer dinners, brewery tours, educational seminars, etc
Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Thirst for knowledge & desire for continuous improvement
3+ years of sales/marketing experience within the beer industry, with a year or more being direct experience working with Chain Retailers OR Minimum 4 years of sales/marketing experience within the beverage alcohol industry, including at least 1 year of direct account management with chain retailers
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
Ability to collaborate cross functionally
Advanced public speaking and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
Responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor and presentation at all times – including situations in which alcohol is present
Regular travel (40 - 60%) is required
To be eligible for this role, you must have valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable means of transportation to travel between accounts
Preferred
Experience using the following software is strongly preferred: IRI/Nielsen, iDig/VIP, Salesforce, TM1 (or a similar forecasting system)
