Information Technology Support Specialist
Kent Power's technology team is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support both field and office employees with reliable, user-focused technology solutions. This role will be a trusted technical partner to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues while collaborating closely with other IT team members to keep systems and operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Provide in-person and remote technical support via tickets, phone, and Microsoft Teams
Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and applications; troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Exercise ownership of the support and provisioning processes and all associated documentation
Drive the support and provisioning processes and maintain all corresponding documentation
Collaborate with team members on systems, security, and network initiatives
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support or help desk role
Strong experience with desktop support and software troubleshooting
Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and common business applications
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience supporting remote or field-based employees
Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT asset management
Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, VPNs, printers, peripherals)
Knowledge of Apple products and operating systems, and associated mobile device management (MDM) systems
Experience documenting IT processes or contributing to knowledge bases
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
