Responsibilities
Automation of Satellite Network Validation Process and Or Automation of Network Discovery Systems
Devise a mechanism to automatically determine the health and status of a Satellite Network system following a change to it's configuration and operational parameters, to ensure all customer services are functional there after. Device mechanisms to automatically discover network components and ingest them into a common database / CMDB
A deployable script (s) that can be used to automate manual functions, a method for others to validate the health and state of a given satellite network and or methods to automate CI ingestion into a common database either of these will increase velocity and improve quality and senable AI Ops
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of python, linux environments, software programming, computer networking, NetBox, Solarwinds, distributed network systems
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Apply existing practices and procedures to analyze situations or data
Ability to work cooperatively with others, take verbal and written instructions and communicate them as needed
All candidates must be actively enrolled students during the program
Applicants must be authorized to work on a full-time basis for any employer in the U.S
Pre-employment drug testing is required for safety sensitive positions or as may otherwise be required by contract or law
