Responsibilities
Prepare quarterly/annual income tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 740)
Prepare and reconcile effective tax rate, deferred tax roll forwards, income tax payable and uncertain tax positions
Prepare tax related disclosures in the financial statement for SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q)
Provide technical research and analysis for complex tax accounting matters
Prepare SOX control workpaper related to tax processes and ensure compliance with internal control requirement
Maintain effective internal controls to support SOX compliance, working closely with internal and external auditors
Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency
Serve as the main point of contact for income tax related questions from external auditors
Qualification
Required
University degree in Finance/ Accounting required
5+ years of corporate income tax experience with strong expertise in ASC 740 and US GAAP
CPA designation
Strong understanding of ASC 740 and U.S. corporate income taxation
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Multinational corporation or large public accounting firm preferred
Experience with CorpTax software or similar tax software is highly desirable
